At PaperWeight, we don’t have a three word slogan or a trademarked tagline. What we do have is years of experience with the skills that we provide. Our approach is direct and with an emphasis on the user. Based out of Philadelphia, we have worked with clients throughout the East Coast in the technology, financial, nonprofit, startup, and fashion industries.
Design is a process and any successful project requires collaboration. We enjoy finding new creative ways of mixing web, branding, and digital strategies. Each project begins with an idea and grows into something grander.
Our goal will always be to produce outstanding results.

And now for some kind feedback from our clients…
In 2013, our nonprofit organization contacted PaperWeight Design Studios to evaluate our current website and make suggestions for a more user-friendly design. We felt they listened carefully and created the new website on a platform that has been easy for us to update, while maintaining the aspects of the original website that were important to us. Their suggestions for graphic and design improvements were helpful and offered in the spirit of collaboration. Throughout the process, they were very responsive and completed the work within the agreed upon timeline. Post-production assistance has been graciously supplied. We would not hesitate to recommend PaperWeight for website design.
Small Steps In Speech
I have worked with PaperWeight for over 6 months to develop and implement my company’s digital branding strategy. They took the time to fully understand the segmentation and positioning within my specific financial market niche and since then their ideas have proven to be innovative, fresh, and perfectly aligned with the vision for my company’s growth.
From my first meeting with PaperWeight, I knew that they were on my side. They took the time to understand my direction and needs as a small business owner. When we hit technological roadblocks, they worked tirelessly to help me overcome them.

Our Latest Thoughts
We discuss a variety of topics such as design, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Whether you are working as a freelancer or are part of a design firm, then you have undoubtedly encountered a client who does not stay involved in the project. It’s one of the more frustrating aspects of providing creative services.
The intent of this post is not to discuss what to do when a client doesn’t get back to you, but more so to talk about how a lack of client involvement can stem from a number of misconceptions about the services being performed. Let’s look at some basic ideas on the process of working together.
Design is a complicated task and it takes a specialized skill set to make it happen correctly. Your designers need to be flexible. These days there are tons of designers, but how many of them are the right fit for your business?
Good design is also good business, helping to build trust and value for your company’s appearance and voice. It’s not rocket science when it comes to the theory, but actually producing the work is not simple and therefore a designer must have a well-rounded skill set. That’s why finding the right designer is crucial. A good designer will always be honest in their skill set. How can you be sure though?
We’d love to hear from you.
